Yahweh's View on Riches

Matt. 6:19-21, 24-25, 31-34
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Luke 16:9-31
Rich man and lazarus

Prov. 23:4-5
4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness.
5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

Matt. 16:26
6 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Ecc. 5:10-15
Rich never satisfied

Col. 3:22-24
Do all things as if for Yahweh.

1 Tim. 6:9-11
Love of money root of evil, so money is not evil, but loving it is.

Psalm 49 entire Psalm is good.

Ps. 62:10

Heb. 13:5-6
Keep your lives free from the love of money.

Matthew 19:16-30
Easier for camel to get through needle than rich man to get into kingdom

Luke 6:24-25

Heb. 10:34-35
34 You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
