My People (Lu. 22:30) - Difference between Judah & Israel

My People (Lu. 22:30)

I. Jews
  A. Lies...Rev. 2:9 (after veil was torn); Rom. 2:25-29 (being a Jew is not a physical condition)
  B. Blessings....Acts 11:1-18 (Peter explained the Gentiles received the holy spirit)
  C. Curses....13:36-41; Isa. 2:5-22 (like the blessings Cornelius received, spiritual jews are also in danger or receiving a curse if they break the covenant)

II. Deeper (Ez. 37:16) - 2 sticks
  A. Two Promises...Gen. 48:1-22 (blessing for Ephraim); 1Chron. 5:1  (Joseph is the official 1stborn of the 12 tribes); Gen. 49:8-12 (scepter goes to Judah) - Since Yah promised Nation to Ephraim and scepter to Judah, there was going to be 2 nations.
    1. The Break...1Ki. 11:9-39 (ORIGINAL SPLIT: 2 nations, Jeraboam - 10 tribes; Reoboam - 1 tribe)
    2. Again....Zec. 11:1-17 (Favor (nations); Union - 12 tribes)
  B. Oholah (Samaria) and Oholibah (Judah, worse than her sister, had convenant w/Yah)...Ezekiel 16:1-63
    1. Worse....2 Chron.13:4-12; Ezek. 16:15-51 (you have more knowledge & understand so guiltier); Jer. 3:6-11
    2. Great Forever....16:59-63 (evelasting covenant, so future); Jer. 3:14-18 (Judah and Israel come together; no more stubborn)
  C. One Stick..Ezek. 37:1-28

10 Tribe Kingdom were so far away from the original law of Moses.  Judah had the Levitical leadership, the ark of covenant.  Yet Yahweh was more upset with them because they did keep up the law or true worship.

Today you have Yahweh's people who started as one, then turned into idol worshipers (Catholic). The split came with the Reformation. Those who protested the false worship of Catholicism and tried to have true worship.

Difference between two nations - doctrine.
